Home Again

September 15, 2016

We have just completed an epic journey together. 23 days from end to end. 38 people in total. 4119 miles. Thousands of songs.

The things we attempted! A new bus. A container shipped to Africa. The Lock Lending Library. A new shade plan. Reorganizing all of our trailers (and the great purge). Our own power. More camp members. More bikes!

There were some failures. We ran out bikes and locks. The bus overheated and dropped coolant like a thunderstorm. The shade structure was 18 inches short.

All problems we solved. All lessons that will make us better next time.

The things we go through together. The inspiration we find. The hands that hold me up for weeks at a time. This thing that we do together, whatever it is, is the time that is the most valuable to me. I am proud to be a part of you. I thank you for being a part of me.

It hasn't been 12 hours since I stepped off of the bus. I miss you all.
