The LibrarianThe Library will act as the information desk for the camp. The Librarian will be front and center on our frontage and will direct the public toward rentals, repairs, events, and bicycle locks. The Librarian will check out bicycle locks to anyone that needs one (while supplies last). But borrowers of locks will need to complete a library card. This will require the Burner to answer a question to themselves (printed on back of postcard) and put in their Default (real) World address and email so we can mail them the postcard when we get home. Have people choose between postcards (Stars And Bikes or Lock Lending Library). When you have extra time, hand out postcards and stickers to people that come into the camp. Do not stand on the street and hand these out to passersby. These are souvenirs of an experience at Hammer And Cyclery. Make sure you have library cards, locks, pens, stickers, and glasses secured with a lanyard when you start your shift. Hammer And Cyclery and Re-Cycle, Inc share no official affiliations with Burning Man or Black Rock City, LLC. |
